This is a book by Terri Blackstock and I had never read any by her till now. I was totally into this story from the get go. It's about a family in a community in today's times and just like that the power goes out. That's right, all the power. Nothing works, not phones, not TV, not generators and nothing that has a chip in it at all. It is amazing the things we take for granted in today's age. They have to learn how to do things the way they were done a hundred years ago. Very interesting. It's a great story of family and community and how technology changes who we are and when it is taken away the things that truly matter are not what we thought.
