Black

'Black' is the 3rd Dekker book I read and I had great expectations after having read' Three' and 'Thunder of Heaven' so when my brother said he had more of his books I said pass them my way. Well, I was sure in for a different story with 'Black'. To be honest I had to force myself to read the first half because I had not ever read anything fantasy like before and was not sure about this. By half way I was in love with the coloured forest and the white talking bats and feared the black bats. I was so invested in the things happening to Thomas Hunter in our world and in the forest that the second half was over too soon.
