Obsessed

Oh my goodness, I just was glued and in awe when I was reading 'Obsessed' by Ted Dekker. For me one of his best as well. It is about a young man who finds clues to his past and his mother in an old building in the city and also some unsavoury people also are there hunting for something. Danger and excitement for sure. However, that is not what I loved most about this book. While all this is happening here and now there is a second story that happens in between. It takes place during WW2 and it's about a couple women in a concentration camp in Germany. Wow! What a story. I was so there with them and all their suffering and I loved the things I learned about the time period while reading the story of these women. I love history and historical fiction is great for learning facts as well. Plus, there's a shocker and I did not see it coming so even better.
